In order to properly review a proposed school district code, Procurement Services must received documentation from the school district that shows exactly how the district's code compares to state law. As explained in the Instructions for Submitting a District Code & Regulations for Review, a District may elect to do this by submitting its proposed code as a set of modifications to the 2011 Model School District Procurement Code. This approach requires that you begin with an editable version of the model code. Attached is a version in MSWord format. To protect the integrity of this document, we have password protected the document such that all changes will be shown with underlining and strike through. Please do not disable this function.
As explained in the Instructions for Submitting a District Code & Regulations for Review, a District may also elect to submit its proposed code as a set of modifications to the latest version of the Consolidated Procurement Code and the associated regulations. For your convenience, Procurement Services has combined the statutes and regulations into one Microsoft Word document and posted it here.
Both of these documents are formatted for Microsoft Word 2003. If you use a subsequent version of this program, such as MSWord 2007, please save the file as a Word 2003 version before submission.
Note: Please note that both these documents have been password protected. Specifically, they have been set to track all changes you make to the document. Deletions will be shown as stricken text. Additions will be shown as underlined text. This makes your job easier and allows Procurement Services to readily track your changes. Please do not substantially reorder the contents. If you relocate significant text, please make notes regarding where the text has been moved.
