This solicitation aims to provide sources for Using Governmental Units (UGU) to receive medical services from Dentists, Physicians, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and other Medical Doctors as needed. The Contractors will be on a qualified provider list that UGUs will utilize when seeking medical services providers. Being placed on the qualified provider list does not guarantee a specific volume of work. The State will NOT contract directly with medical individuals or sole proprietorships. The State will only contract with Locum Tenens. Locum Tenens (temporary healthcare employment agencies) shall provide professional medical staffing solutions. These positions include but are not limited to Dentists, Physicians, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and all other medical doctors. These positions will encompass all ages of life from pediatrician to geriatric. Employees of Locum Tenens must be licensed by the State of South Carolina for each medical field in which they will be rendering service. Only offers from Locum Tenens (Temporary Healthcare Employment Agencies) will be accepted by the state. *CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE COVERAGE ARE TO BE FURNISHED BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF SERVICES UNDER CONTRACT.*
