Description:
The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a source or sources of supply for the purchase of educational supplieswhich provide tools that help children reinforce and support learning.The following items will necessarily be EXCLUDED from the contract:
  • Furniture
  • Science Laboratory fixtures and equipment, i.e. plumbing fixtures, hoods, filtration, technology applications•Information technology/data fixtures featuring or facilitating technology applications or software
  • Used, remanufactured or refurbished products
  • Items within other State Term Contracts such as Office Supplies, Paper, etc. 
Due to an administrative error, the State issued a new solicitation (5400022144) to replace 5400020781.  Existing vendors with contracts supporting 5400020781 (the original STC for Educational Supplies solicitation) DO NOT need to submit a new bid.

SPECIFIC DETAILS PERTAINING TO THE USE OF THIS CONTRACT

1. Please see Section III. Scope of Work/Specifications for a more detailed description of each Lot that was awarded through this solicitation.

2. Lot 1: Early Childhood & Elementary Educational Supplies – This category represents ageappropriate supplies for core subjects in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.

3. Lot 2: Instructional Supplies – Middle and High School levels - This category represents core subjects including English Language Arts, Mathematics and Science and Social Studies.

4. Lot 3: Physical Education – Middle School level and below - Physical education is part of the school experience of South Carolina students. Physical education provides students with important opportunities for healthy activities and play to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of physical activity.

5. Lot 4: Art Education - This category represents educational supplies as they relate to art education.

6. Website information is listed for each contracted vendor. Catalogs are available upon request from the vendors.

7. Catalogs may be updated annually in January of each year by the vendors.

DELIVERY & SHIPPING CHARGES
 
For individual orders involving less than $50.00, contractor shall ship these orders prepaid, add the shipping charges to the invoice as a separate charge and include in the invoice total for payment by Using Governmental Unit. For oversized, heavy weight or drop-shipped items, delivery charges shall be quoted to and accepted by the Using Governmental Unit prior to purchase order acceptance.

VERIFY ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ORDER PRIOR TO FINAL APPROVAL.
