The purpose of this solicitation is to establish sources of supply for Temporary Personnel Staffing Services. As a fixed-price bid, vendors may be added on a semi-annual basis during the course of the contract. The use of these contracts is mandatory for all state governmental bodies (i.e. state government departments, commissions, councils, boards, bureaus, committees, institutions, colleges, universities, technical schools, agencies, governmental corporations, or other establishments or officials of the executive or judicial branch.). The use of these contracts is optional for political subdivisions (i.e. school districts, municipalities, counties, special purpose districts).

***CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE COVERAGE ARE TO BE FURNISHED BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF SERVICES UNDER CONTRACT.***

Statewide Contract for Temporary Personnel Staffing Services 

If the UGU plans to hire temporary personnel as permanent employees, the UGU will provide a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days’ notice to the contractor prior to the date of permanent hire. In such circumstances, the contractor will continue to pay the temporary employee as part of their payroll until the agreed-upon final transfer date.
